1. Our commitment
Family Bible is designed for every generation of your family, including people who use assistive technology. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III guidance.
2. What we do
- Semantic HTML with landmark regions and a visible “skip to main content” link.
- Keyboard operability on every control, with clearly visible focus rings.
- Color contrast ratios of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text.
- Support for screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) and text scaling to 200% without loss of content.
- Respect for
prefers-reduced-motion. - Large default text size, tuned for older users by product design.
- Form inputs with associated labels, descriptive error messages, and live regions for status updates.
3. Known limitations
We are actively working on full captioning for user-uploaded video content and improved language-selection controls. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us so we can prioritize a fix.
